Critical Care

Ben is still in Critical Care at St. Pete's where he's been since Tuesday March 22. Today he made good progress and he's off the respirator but still has not regained consciousness. His seizures have stopped and his pneumonia is better. Soon we will be able to more accurately assess his brain damage. Your prayers and holding Ben in your heart are helping us so much. But as far as I'm concerned, the worst already happened- Ben already died so now every minute is bonus time! What a gift! Can't wait till he wakes up and starts flirting with the pretty nurses- it's too bad he's missing all this attention. Please pass this on to friends- I know I am only hitting the tip of the iceberg.
